Kris Tina Carlston currently serves as the Director of the Preprofessional Advisement Program at Brigham Young University and provides advising services for the health professions, law, and those interested in pursuing an MBA. After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Chemistry from Utah State University, Kris Tina continued her education and received her Master’s in Business Administration from the Huntsman School of Business and her J.D. degree from the J. Reuben Clark School of Law. Prior to working at BYU, Kris Tina worked as a law associate at a large firm in Chicago where she focused her practice on corporate tax law, §1031 land exchanges, and non-profit organizations. While she loves working with students she continues to dabble in practicing law; focusing on estate planning while raising her two small children with her husband, Greg Danklef.
